After years working across the beauty industry, I became increasingly aware of how often skincare marketing relied on emotional language, trends, and vague promises, while many formulations themselves remained surprisingly ordinary.
I had been making simple skincare products for years, but eventually realised there was a gap between the technically advanced formulations I wanted to create and my own skill level. That realisation led me back to study cosmetic chemistry in my late 40s, where I developed a deeper understanding of formulation science, green chemistry, ingredient functionality, and the realities of the beauty industry itself.
What began as a desire to create better skincare for my own midlife skin evolved into something much bigger: a commitment to creating high-performing organic skincare built around clinically supported ingredients, multi-purpose formulations, and a more thoughtful approach to beauty and sustainability.
Today, Seadragon Organic brings together science, sustainability, and simplicity through a small collection of carefully formulated products designed to genuinely support the skin, without unnecessary complexity or excess.
